The aim of this course is to provide designated offshore workers with the knowledge of procedures necessary to carry out their duties as Helicopter Landing Officers (HLO’s) or helideck crew. The training meets and exceeds U.K.O.O.A. Industry Guidelines for the Management of Offshore Helideck Operations. Course content includes legislation, helicopter type information, helideck layouts, emergency equipment, operations & loading, refuelling, communications, movement of dangerous goods, and under slung loads.
