Pengawas Scaffolding – Competency Assessment is a BNSP competency assessment programme conducted through PT Samson Tiara’s TUK LSP Migas for personnel responsible for supervising, inspecting, and approving scaffolding work.
The programme is suitable for candidates from industrial, operational, onshore, offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, and other high-risk work environments, provided they meet the applicable Pengawas Scaffolding certification scheme requirements.
The assessment is based on the Pengawas Scaffolding competency scheme. It is designed to assess whether candidates meet the required competency standards to perform the role of Pengawas Scaffolding, also commonly referred to operationally as Scaffolding Inspector or Scaffolding Supervisor.
This is an assessment-only programme. It is intended for candidates who already have the required knowledge, skills, and workplace experience related to scaffolding supervision. It is not a full scaffolding training programme.

Certification BasisThis programme is conducted as a BNSP competency assessment through PT Samson Tiara’s TUK LSP Migas. The assessment refers to the Pengawas Scaffolding competency scheme used within the LSP Migas certification process.
Candidates who meet the required competency standards will be declared competent and will receive the applicable BNSP competency certificate through the LSP Migas certification process.
Assessment DeliveryThe assessment-only programme is delivered over 2 days*.
Activities may include assessment briefing, document verification, review of competency requirements, pre-assessment, and competency assessment in accordance with the Pengawas Scaffolding scheme and assessor instructions.
Important: This programme does not include full scaffolding training. Candidates are expected to have relevant scaffolding supervision knowledge, skills, and work experience before attending the assessment.

Candidates will undergo competency assessment in accordance with the applicable LSP Migas / BNSP certification process. Candidates who meet the required competency standards will be declared competent.
The assessment may include document verification, self-assessment, review of supporting evidence, questioning, observation, demonstration, or other assessment methods in accordance with the scheme requirements and assessor instructions.
CertificateCandidates who are declared competent will receive a BNSP competency certificate for the Pengawas Scaffolding scheme issued through the LSP Migas certification process.
Certificate ValidityThe competency certificate is valid for 3 years, in accordance with the applicable LSP Migas / BNSP certification scheme requirements.
