Scope
Knowing and implementing existing work safety regulations when handling scaffolding is a skill that must be possessed by a scaffolder.

OSH Scaffolding Technician Level Training is designed to comply with Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Safety, Minister of Manpower regulation No. PER. 01/MEN/1980 concerning Occupational Safety & Health in Building Construction, and SKB Minister of Manpower and Minister of Public Works No. Kep 174/Men/1986 and No. 104/Kpts/1986 and implementation guidelines on occupational safety and health at construction sites.

General Course Objectives:
The aim and objective of the Scaffolding Technician Level training program is:

To acquire the basic knowledge and skills needed in terms of planning, preparing, completing, checking, supervising, and ensuring safe scaffolding work.

Course Content:

OSH laws and regulations on building construction
Basic knowledge of scaffolding
Types of scaffolding
Scaffolding technical standards and guidelines
Scaffolding supervision and inspection.
Fundamentals of scaffold load assessment.
Assemble and dissemble scaffolding.
Potential hazards of scaffolding construction
How to prevent scaffolding accidents
Scaffolding safe work procedures (work at heights)
Practice
