Scope
The Scaffolding Awareness course provides a fundamental understanding of scaffolding through both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. It covers the design, installation, and safety precautions necessary to minimize the risks associated with working at height. The course also addresses the standards and regulations related to scaffolding structures and working at height.

General Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
  1. Gain knowledge of scaffolding standards and regulations
  2. Understand basic construction and scaffolding safety
  3. Identify hazards and implement risk prevention measures during scaffolding installation
  4. Acquire fundamental knowledge of scaffolding components and structures
  5. Learn the processes of scaffolding installation and removal
  6. Understand the basics of scaffolding design and calculation

  1. Basic knowledge of working at height & Scaffolding
  2. Regulation & Standard about Scaffolding
  3. Hazard & risk of scaffolding structure
  4. Type of scaffolding & it’s part
  5. Scaffolding basic design & calculation
  6. Practice: General knowledge of scaffolding & it’s part:
    • Scaffolding basic installation
    • Maintaining & removal of scaffolding
    • Scaffolding inspection
    • Safety Procedure of scaffolding installation
    • Practice: Scaffolding design & installation
    • General review & Closing
